Our organization
The El Paso CPAAA (Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that consists of citizens who have graduated from an El Paso Citizen Police Academy class.
Our history
The El Paso Police Department started its first Citizen Police Academy in the fall of 1995. In 1997 graduates of the Citizens Police Academy got together to form a non-profit organization supporting law enforcement and being liaisons with the community.
Our mission
We seek to enhance the relationship between the community and the El Paso Police Department, through education, community service, and direct support to the Department.

Attend El Paso Citizen Police Academy
The goal of the Citizens Police Academy is to provide the citizens of El Paso with an orientation of the mission, structure, and the philosophies of the EPPD. This program is designed to increase the level of police/community cooperation and to encourage citizens to become active participants in Community Policing.

Mark You Calendar to attend May 17 2025 at the El Paso Police Academy 2300 Scenic Drive from 10am-4pm. You will have the opportunity to meet and visit with officers from various departments along with members from our organization.
